Trim the Fat - An excellent way to reduce your saturated fat intake is to change from whole-milk products to either low-fat or nonfat products. The percentage-of-fat in milk refers to how much of the weight of the milk comes from fat. The difference in the fat content between 1% milk and 2% milk is greater than the numbers suggest. For example, 1% milk contains about 95 calories in each eight-ounce glass, and 0.4 to 2.4 grams of fat. 2% milk contains about 125 calories and 4 grams of fat.
